CAP is currently seeking a Group Home Managers for the following settings:

  • 44th St. & Shea in Phoenix, AZ (females only)
  • 89th Ave. & Glendale in Glendale, AZ (females only)
  • 18th St. & Greenway in Phoenix, AZ (males and females)
  • Tatum & Greenway in Phoenix, AZ (males and females)
  • McClintock & Warner in Tempe, AZ (males only)

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising, coaching, and training all direct support staff assigned to the home.
  • Assuring that all staff are up-to-date on classroom training, as well as training on the unique needs of the residents.
  • Driving residents to medical and med review appointments.
  • Assuring that the resident’s individual plan is carried out in all respects, including any habilitation training and behavior treatment plans.
  • Creating activity schedules for recreational activities.
  • Assuring that all nutritional needs are met, weekly menus are created, and grocery shopping is done.
  • Daily monitoring includes medication, program data, communication logs, and staff schedules.
  • Ensuring that all state-mandated regulations and company policies are maintained at all times.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to pass a level one fingerprint clearance background check.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must have a valid AZ driver's license with at least one year of driving history. A 39-month MVR will be obtained to ensure that you meet our insurance eligibility requirements.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to commute to the setting.
  • Previous supervisory experience within the DDD field a MUST .
  • Please note that there is an on-call component to this position.
