Maintenance Construction Worker II (Water & Sewer) The City of Lexington is accepting applications for a full-time permanent job of Maintenance Construction Worker II in the Public Works Department. Assignment is to a Utilities Crew, so experience in water and/or sewer work is essential. Incumbent performs maintenance of utilities, such as repairing water line breaks, clearing sewer line blockages, installing new connections, hand digging, line locating, leak detection, and operating equipment. This is a semi-skilled job with 1 to 3 years' experience in water and/or sewer. This is not an entry level job. Requires a current VA Class B CDL or ability to obtain same in 60 days. Starting rate of pay is $12.65 to $13.50 per hour DOQ&E. The City offers a very competitive benefits package.
