Compass Behavioral Center of Alexandria, a leading provider of behavioral health treatment, is now accepting resumes for Director of Nursing. 

The DON will be responsible for, but not limited to: assessment and screening of patients, development of nursing impressions and recommendations, treatment planning and treatment plan reviews, participation in team conferences, case management, discharge planning and placement, etc. The DON will facilitate the delivery of quality patient care and support the philosophy and objectives of the professional psychiatric unit.

To be considered, applicants MUST meet the following qualifications:

1. Possess a current, active, and in good standing license to practice Nursing in the State of Louisiana;

2. Have a minimum of three years administrative experience, including involvement in personnel management and long/short term planning;

3. MUST have minimum of three years experience in nursing with psychiatric care.
