City Vision Internships is a Christian one-year, multi-year or summer internship program based on the AmeriCorps model. Interns serve at one of over 40 positions across the USA and Canada.

This specific opportunity is with BlueSky Global ministries. Just as exciting as an African safari adventure is serving the Lord through our ministry, BlueSky Global Ministries! BlueSky exists with three business platforms that are all used as the ministry, primarily to students ages 7 to 17. BlueSky uses summer camp, a climbing gym, and teambuilding adventures to lead multinational students (and adults) to understand what life in Christ can mean for them. Although our ministry is located in Kenya, we are seeking ministry staff to assist in various ministry functions from here in the United States.

BlueSky will welcome the opportunity to send our staff to Nairobi, Kenya to witness firsthand our purpose in missions and in reaching the multinational community there. The ideal candidate for this position will look forward to getting to do hands-on work in running a non-profit, and they will be excited about advancing the gospel in Kenya and beyond.

Requirements include:

• Strong bookkeeping skills
• Experience with using QuickBooks would be ideal
• The candidate for this position MUST work well independently
• Pay close attention to detail, and be a person that takes initiative
• Skills with technology in posting to social media or web design or designing brochures are a plus
• Bachelors degree
• Must be a Christian
• Must be U.S. or Canadian citizen, U.S. or Canadian national or lawful permanent resident alien, or have a valid visa allowing work or volunteering
• Able to make at least a one year (or summer) commitment (may be extended by mutual agreement)
• Able to relocate to a location of a ministry site (unless a site exists at your current location)

1-2 year internships program with hands-on nonprofit experience providing free tuition (undergrad or graduate).
