Job Description Software Engineer (.Net Developer)

Position Description
Mid-level .NET Developer is be responsible for web and mobile application design, development, implementation, testing, and debugging in an agile team environment (using .NET/C#, Cordova/Xamarin, MS Visual Studio, and MS SQL Server) for all projects assigned. This person will work collaboratively within the project team as well as independently on smaller projects. The mid-level .NET developer will participate in full system development life-cycle, working closely with stakeholders.


Your future duties and responsibilities
• Web and Mobile application development
• Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• SQL script development
• Maintain and improve the performance of existing applications to ensure strong functionality and optimization
• Recommend enhancements to existing applications
• Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 3+ years in software development
• 1 year experience web development
• 3+ years in SQL Server experience
• Application design and technical understanding
• Code development (C#)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

Desired
• Bachelors degree and 3-5 years overall IT/Software development experience
• 3+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience
• Minimum 3-5 years programing experience in C#, Javascript, JQuery, Ajax/JSON/XML, HTML5 and CSS for building web applications and web services (SOAP/RESTful) in MS Visual Studio
• Minimum 2-3 years of mobile development using Cordova/Xamarin tools in Visual Studio
• Minimum 3-5 years SQL Server experience
• Familiarity with Mac and iOS environments
