Position Description
Position Summary:
Seeking a mid-level to senior-level Software Engineer. Must be able to obtain and hold a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartment Clearance (TS/SCI). Must have, or be able to obtain, Security+ certification upon employment. Must be proficient in Java, FORTRAN, and C. Must be knowledgeable in Oracle 11g/12c, Linux and Windows.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
• Work on Scrum team
• Software development and engineering skills in Java, Fortran, and C
• Design, build, test software upgrades and modifications
• Research and troubleshoot issues and bugs
• Implements COTS/MOTS/GOTS, and other third party, product updates

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 3-5 years of experience in software development and engineering
• Knowledgeable in software development such as Eclipse, Git, JIRA, Java Profilers – jvisualvm, jhat, jmap, Junit, SoapUI, and Linux GDB
• Understanding of Middleware: JBoss, ActiveMQ, Hibernate, and Infinispan.
• Java 8, Java Native Interface/API, Java Messaging Service, Java Remote Method Invocation, Java Concurrency, Java Web Services, SoapUI, Machine Virtualization, C, FORTRAN, Eclipse RCP, and Java SWT
• Applications: VMWare, VirtualBox
• OS Linux and WIndows.
• Database Oracle 11g,12c
• Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain one
• Security+ce or CISSP certification
• Ability to learn rapidly
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Travel 25% of time to support the program through requirements meetings, software testing events, or assisting new developers
• Have, or have within 90 days of employment, DOD 8570.1M IATI/IATII Certification. (i.e. Linux+ (Exams LX0-101 and LX0-102) and Windows Server 2012 R2 (Microsoft 70-410 & 70-411))
