Position Description
Position Summary:
CGI Federal is looking for a Senior Voice Network Engineer to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client in the Washington, DC area. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, detail oriented, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of Voice/Data Communications Engineers
• Architect, design and optimize Avaya/Avaya Communications Service (ACU) and Cisco Unified Communications products including Cisco Call Manager, VoIP.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot encryption devices, PSTN, DSN, ISDN, etc.
• Develop and implement the technical architecture and physical design of the network
• Troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and provide solutions to complex hardware/software problems
• Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex voice and data network issues

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with communication and voice solutions.
• Full lifecycle experience with Avaya and Cisco Unified Communications solutions.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot encryption devices, PSTN, DSN, ISDN, etc.
• Experience integrating multi-platform Unified Communications to include Exchange, LYNC, Blackberry, Apple IPad, SMEPED, Mobile Devices, IPhone, other IOS devices and vendors.
• Experience designing networks to align with current DoD Information Assurance (IA) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards
• DoD IAT Level II Certification is required (Security+ce, SSCP, CCNA-Security, etc.)

Additional Requirements:
• Ability to successfully complete the CGI Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment.
• Possession of an ACTIVE SECRET security clearance is required to begin employment

Desired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Two years of supporting COMSEC equipment (STE/STU)
• Knowledge of MS Visio
