If you have been working in the healthcare industry, this is the chance to further advance your career Your future duties and responsibilities CGI is looking for a QA and Testing Sr. Specialist that specializes in Business Intelligence, Oracle, and Oracle Application Express to test and ensure the quality of the Analytics and Reporting Central Application. The QA and Testing Sr. Specialist will participate on an Agile team to design, develop, test, and deploy the Analytics and Reporting Central Application. The individual will be responsible to work with internal business clients, IT System Analysts, Architects, Developers and Project Managers to complete the delivery of QA and Testing deliverables. Uses extensive knowledge and experience in the User Interface (UI) space to create valuable products that exceed customers’ expectations. This UI QA professional has a strong consultative presence in the business which allows a deep understanding of the pace, direction, and needs of business and IT partners. Applying strict but practical testing controls and processes, the Sr. Specialist ensures maximum performance, accuracy, and availability of supported products. Strong technical credentials and excellent interpersonal skills make this professional a sought after resource by the technical community as well as business partners. The analyst is a leader in all area of quality and testing best practices using UI Based testing tools along with the following tools: Looker, Oracle Application Express, and Informatica. Required qualifications to be successful in this role • Experience with Test Driven Development and CICD practices. • Identifies and implements test automation and Continuous Delivery opportunities. • Defines, executes, and documents system test plans, test cases, data mining, test execution and results, defect resolution, and test summaries. • Provide feedback in the design of complex customer analytic solutions by applying expert level understanding of UI best practices. • Design and develop customer training materials, conduct customer training sessions (Sprint Reviews), and maintain product release information. • Ability to identify and resolve system, subsystem and component dependencies and concerns. • Assist in the product releases which includes documentation, quality control and assistance with promotion checkouts which may be done during non-standard business hours. • Actively participate in Agile project ceremonies. • Participate/Assist with deployments to all environments including Production (which could occur after hours). • Other responsibilities as assigned. • Six to eight years prior QA and Testing experience • 3-5 years experience participating in the development of a front end user application. • Oracle Application Express experience preferred. • Experience working with development team from the initial development of business requirements, through all the Agile/Scrum steps and providing on-going maintenance and support. • Experience with multiple tools for QA and Test documentation and tracking with a preference towards testing automation tools. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Exemplifies teamwork and serves as role model. Ability to successfully facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments and levels. Influences at all levels across the company within span of control. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, five years of diverse work experience in IT and/or management. • Demonstrates and promotes creativity and innovation. Proactively seeks out alternative solutions to business problems 1. Experience with Test Automation Tools 2. BI Tool experience (experience with Looker/Tableau/OBIEE) 3. Experience with Informatica ETL is a plus 4. Experience with Oracle Application Express 5. Experience with GIT, Jenkins, and uDeploy a plus 6. Familiar with Agile and SCRUM methodologies 7. Advanced degree Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Demonstrated ability to (1) be analytical, (2) strong customer relationship skills, (3) strong communication skills (4) detail oriented and thorough, (5) ability to manage and prioritize multiple assigned tasks; (6) Be able to work independently and with a team.
