Position Description

Your future duties and responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Program Test Manager has responsibility for overall management and delivery of end to end test plan, design, development and implementation of program/project test strategy.

• Partner and work with highly skilled, matrix cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Development, QA, IT Operations, business stakeholders) across projects delivered by TSG/ ASG’s.

• Is extremely thorough and detail-oriented and work well with established QA processes.

• Demonstrate expertise with priority assessment, solves problems, prioritizes deliverables and manages project scope and end-to end QA delivery across teams.

• Executes projects using firm-approved project management strategies, processes, techniques, and best practices.

• Assists in maintaining appropriate project related metrics, tracking projects, performing reviews and audits of completed projects, and portfolio management.

• Manages large to complex projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget while delivering expected functionality and satisfactory quality



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Must possess a minimum of 12 years of relevant functional or industry experience.

• Minimum of 2-3 Full Life Cycle system delivery implementations in a testing role.

• At least 8 years of leading Testing efforts, including experience with all phases of testing: Sprint, System, Integration, User Acceptance and Performance Testing.

• At least 8 years of experience with estimating testing efforts, managing testing teams, defining the testing strategy for large scale programs and ensuring requirements traceability throughout the system development lifecycle.

• At least 8 years of experience overseeing the development of test plans, test scenarios, test cases, execution of test case and documentation of test results.

• Demonstrates a solid understanding of software product lifecycles as well as how technical systems work and interact.

• Experience embedding Test Driven Development practices into Agile teams preferred; able to work with developers and introduce TDD concepts and practices.

• At least 8 years of experience with driving the quality assurance processes and gaining delivery buy-in from senior leadership and program stakeholders.

• At least 8 years of testing experience in different environments including one or more of the following client server, Services Oriented Architecture, Web based, Mainframe based and three tier architectures.

• At least 8 years of experience with one or more of the following tools: HP toolset, Rational toolset, SOA testing tools and automation testing toolsets.

• At least 6 years of experience in test automation including developing test automation strategies and leading automation testing efforts using multiple tools (UFT, Selenium, JUnit, Soap UI, and Jenkins) preferred.

• Experience with tracking and reporting SLAs and KPIs in a managed services testing engagement

• Experience with implementing techniques such as Service Virtualization using CA, HP or IBM tools

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of associates in the organization as well as solid facilitation skills.

• Proven ability to build relationships with other teams within technology to execute testing programs with multiple threads, multiple systems, and a diverse set of resources.

Bachelor’s degree required, or advanced experience with the business.
