Job Description Full Stack MS .Net Developer

Position Description
CGI is seeking to hire a Mid-Level .NET developer to work on client site in Hartford CT. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for re-architecting applications to serve the needs of our client. The developer must have experience with a full web application stack (UI/UX, middle tier, SQL Server database). A full list of position responsibilities can be found below.

In addition, the desired candidate should become familiar with the customer's business processes, possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and be able to work independently and in a team environment. The desired candidate will be expected to proactively identify and execute processes to support the customer's top priorities and ensure mission success.



Your future duties and responsibilities
• Perform analysis of business requirements to design and recommend solutions to meet the customer needs.
• Design and develop applications and web services using ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, C#, XML, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS and/or Angular 2+, CSS, Bootstrap, MS-TypeScript, WebPack, Entity Framework, WCF and RESTFul Services
• Develop stored procedures, triggers, and views in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (this is must have skill)
• Perform unit, integration, regression, performance, and load tests on application builds



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Ability to prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written and tested.
• 5 years’ experience as a senior .NET web developer using C#
• 5 years of frontend development using HTML, Javascript, jQuery and CSS
• 2 years of AngularJS, Angular 2+ and TypeScript - Responsive programming
• 5 years’ experience as developing T-SQL stored procedures, views, and queries
• Experience in ETL development with SSIS (for a full stack .net web developer a Plus
• 2 years’ experience in writing unit tests, integration tests, and regression tests
• 1 year experience working in a Scrum team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
