Position Details Job order - J0616-0040 - Permanent Full Time Title Junior Data Analyst Category zINACTIVE - Information Technology City Huntsville, Alabama, United States Job Description Junior Data Analyst Position Description CGI has a new opportunity on an exciting DOD project that is designed to exchange information in a safe and innovative way. CGI is seeking to hire a full-time junior data analyst with related analyst experience, extremely high attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. This position would work independently to perform data and market analysis through vendor contact and internet research and record the results in Microsoft Excel. Would coordinate customer support effort with senior analysts and create charts, reports and briefings utilizing Microsoft suite of tools summarizing activity and analysis. Your future duties and responsibilities - Coordinate with senior analysts and management to support project goals and objectives - Interface with government personnel and provide analytic support as well as other duties assigned - Perform data and market analysis through telephone and email contacts with vendor and internet research - Record results of analysis in Microsoft Excel - Assist with the development of monthly and quarterly reports, charts, and briefings summarizing activity and analysis results to customer Required qualifications to be successful in this role - Experienced user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint - High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Demonstrated ability to interface professionally and successfully with customer and support personnel - Work with other members of the team to accomplish assigned tasks - Demonstrated ability to perform successfully in diverse atmosphere within deadlines assigned with little direct supervision required - Motivated self-starter who can understand customer needs and who can anticipate and resolve problems efficiently Experience: - At least one year experience working as an analyst or related position dealing with large data sets Education: - Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred Active SECRET Clearance Experience with SQL and utilizing VBA with Access would be beneficial At CGI, we’re a team of builders.
