Java/J2EE "Athlete" Developer

CGI is seeking a Technology Athlete with strong development in Java & J2EE to become a part of a dynamic team located in CGI Technology Center of Excellence Lafayette, LA.!

Your future duties and responsibilities
The Athlete Requirements:

Previous experience Java Developer with 3+ Years of overall experience who is very good with the following Java concepts:

• Strong J2EE fundamentals

• Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Batch and Hibernate

• Java Design Patterns

• Web services, RESTFUL and SOAP experience

• Strong Database experience

• TDD (Test Driven Development)

• Tools- GITHUB, Jenkins, Maven and any other CI tools experience is mandatory.

• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills

• Agile and SDLC experience – at least 2+ years

• Forward thinking, independent, creative, self-sufficient and go-getter; who can work with less documentation, has exposure testing complex multi-tiered integrated applications.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Strong Initiative: Must be able to mentor the team both technically and functionally.

• Must be able to take a high-level requirement, ask questions/Seek clarifications and get the job done.

• Ability to work in a high-pressured, tight-deadline environment

• Must work well in a team environment as well as independently

• Strong DB experience is mandatory.

• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
