Position Description
CGI is hiring an Orion Rhapsody Developer to assist with the collection, transformation, and delivery of behavioral health information. The Rhapsody Developer will analyze, design, and develop solutions.


Your future duties and responsibilities
Must be an Orion Rhapsody expert.

• Respond to business events during the care and administration of patients within the NYS mental health system with Admit/Discharge/Transfer (ADT) message generation from Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and related database and front-end systems.
• Generate Continuity of Care Document (CCD) through export interfaces from a vxVistA EMR system.
• Accommodate PIX/PDQ real-time query from external entities leveraging existing infrastructure.
• Consume patient CCD information from external entities using messaging engine to a vxVistA EMR system.



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 7 – 10 years RDBMS development
• Experience developing Orion Health Rhapsody Integration Engine solutions
• Experience with VistA data model
• 5 years development experience in healthcare industry

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience programming in Oracle PL/SQL
• 3 – 5 years VistA development

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science degree in computer information systems or related field.
