Position Description
Candidate is responsible for unifying communications for a service desk functional that performs user outreach, training, and incident management. Work in a highly collaborative team environment and generate marketing materials, branding, Web presence, newsletters, and email notifications/alerts. Identify new ways of reaching out to end user community. Communication materials should be engaging, easy to consume, and, most importantly, accurate. Candidate should have experience writing technical communications documents. Candidate understands the importance of consistency and clarity of communications


Your future duties and responsibilities
Writes, edits, reviews and oversees release of communication documents and programs that support the organization.
Edits and enhances communication materials, including intranet, newsletters, emails/memos, and webcasts
Reviews and edits essential communications prior to dissemination to ensure accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness.
Ensures a “corporate voice” permeates messaging to employees and stakeholders.
Assist with the development and implementation of new and existing communication vehicles.
Generate and make available content on a variety of mediums such as SharePoint
Track Web site metrics
Use graphics tools to create branding/marketing materials



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Top Secret Security Clearance
Excellent communication skills
Experience with SharePoint
Desired:
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, SharePoint Designer
