Position Description
CGI is seeking to hire a Business Analyst/PM - Clearvision SME in support of its strategic Investment Banking client. This position is based in NYC.

Our investment Bank client is looking for a Subject Matter expert to support Clearvision (CV) application which is a futures and options trade matching system for listed derivatives. This person will lead projects, develop test cases and provide testing support to deliver software upgrades for the application.

This person is responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan and developing functional test cases, executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other legacy- and / or external systems.

Subject Matter Expert will design test cases from a technical and functional standpoint to limit the number of bugs and improve overall stability.



Your future duties and responsibilities
• Review functional and design specifications, Clearvision software release notes to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
• Create workflow diagrams to highlight key components or business rules for major changes.
• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
• Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
• Liaise with upstream and downstream application owners to run end-to-end testing and obtain proper sign-offs.
• Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
• Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
• Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 10 + years are BA / PM on ClearVision product.
• Previous experience acting as a project manager or subject matter expert to lead large Clearvision software upgrades.
• Clear communicator (written and verbal) ¡V to ensure ability to write test plans and test cases. To communicate bugs to team and other stakeholders
• Creative solving of technical problems ¡V to ensure the ability translate technical requirements test plans
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables ¡V ensures the ability to find the bad defects and bugs quickly
• Inquisition ¡V the ability to challenge and question and raise concerns related to production changes.
• 3-5 years experience with Clearvision application
• Knowledge of Clearvision components, data flow, and business processes
• Understanding of core Clearvision functions, carte blanch, give-ins, give-ups
• Liaise with subject matter experts, project management, and Operations. Create clear, concise detail oriented test plans/cases across these teams for comprehensive test plan.
• Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
