Position Description
CGI Federal has created an exciting Cloud Management Platform. The Emerging Technologies Practice team developed Unify360 to help customers procure, provision, and manage workloads in Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, along with other on-premises private cloud solutions. We are looking for a talented front end web developer to extend and enhance the Unify360 customer-facing portal, which includes dashboard and reporting features along with a self-service storefront.
Relocation assistance can be provided.
Your future duties and responsibilities
The Front End UI/UX developer works with the Unify360 product owners and CGI Federal's User Experience team to ensure that the Unify360 web application conforms to corporate standards while providing its customers an intuitive working environment. You will express the UX team's designs in the visual elements of Unify360. You will take an active role in melding the graphical and technical implementations.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
HTML, JavaScript, CSS
CSS precompilers such as Sass and LESS
AngularJS, Grunt, Gulp, Bower
AJAX
Version control with git
Translation of mock-ups and wireframes into AngularJS
Unit testing
Clear communication skills
Agile development lifecycle
A bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology and 4+ years of experience
Due to the nature of our Government clients, US Citizenship is required
Hands-on Javascript experience is a must, including closures, promises, RequireJS, AJAX.
A general understanding of browser mechanisms, including: cookies, HTTP headers.
Desired:
NoSQL databases; microservice architecture, development, and deployment; dropwizard, spring core, spring boot; node.js
