Job Description ADV Software Quality Assurance/ Tester

Position Description
Our consultants provide a full range of services, from defining strategy to implementing solutions. Below are examples of work we perform every day:

- System Testing: Identify, diagnose and document system issues. Execute test scripts. Assess how well a product adheres to its design, follows standards, is usable, and meets business needs.
- User Support Analysis: Research solutions to problems, answer client questions and provide consulting and training as required. Track software and documentation issues and perform applications maintenance.
- Business Analysis: Work with clients to capture and document business needs and requirements. Assist with designs to document clients¿ processes. Develop test cases to verify accuracy and completeness of process and software solutions.

Essential Skills Required:

- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and software quality management frameworks
- Proficient with MS Office applications
- Strong analytical skills
- Comfort with ambiguity
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent written and oral communication capabilities
- Leadership skills
- Commitment to quality and attention to detail
- Excellent problem solving skills

Nonessential Skills Desired:

- Experience with application testing
- Experience with system testing
- Experience with user acceptance testing
- Experience with automated test tools such as WinRunner
- Experience with test tools such as TestDirector
- Familiarity with different testing methodologies
- Experience with testing for SAP or other ERP packages
- Ability to lead a small team
- Ability to develop expertise and become a subject matter expert for a given application or business function
