Burlington School District is seeking a Discrete Trial Interventionist

The Burlington School District seeks an experienced interventionist to implement discrete trial instruction ( DTI) under district assigned coordinator. The ideal candidate will have 1 or more years experience working with students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and/or other developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will also have 1 or more years experience implementing interventions based on applied behavior analysis (such as token economy/reinforcement systems, antecedent and consequence interventions) as well as experience dealing with challenging behaviors.

Job expectations include, but are not limited to:

• implementing DTI and following behavior intervention plans
• data collection
• collaborating with coordinator, case manager, and paraeducator staff
• assisting with material prep and paperwork as needed.
  

This position is on a Personal Services Contract and is on a school year schedule; Full-time, 35 hours/week. Single health benefits offered.
Salary as approved by the Burlington Board of School Commissioners.
