Our students are ages 6-13 and most are beginners, but we do have some students who will give the average college engineering student a run for their money!

Pay starts at $20 per hour and goes up to $25 per hour as teachers work more hours.

How do I make myself available?

• You update your availability to our booking system by Friday at midnight and then parents book you for the following week.

How often do I get paid?

• Every month! Sometimes more often than that too.

How many students can you guarantee me?

• For some of our teachers, we found students for them in 24 hours. Others took longer. We let parents decide who they want to book, so it's dependent on your schedule and how you present yourself.

• Must attend a top 100 US college, OR graduated recently
• Must be AMAZING with kids and serve as a role model: empathetic, patient, and deeply kind. This is by far the most important requirement for the job. Just because you’re a great engineer, doesn’t mean you’re a great teacher!
• Must have experience coding: This could mean a handful of college-level CS classes, or a personal interest in engineering with example projects to show it.
• Must be available at least 5 hours each week with extreme consistency. Every 6 months, we permit 2 weeks vacation with 2 weeks’ notice.
• Must be someone who speaks English without an accent. Must have a consistent schedule for 3+ months at a time.
• Must have a (1) computer/laptop with a camera, and a (2) headset with a microphone to ensure your voice is clear.
• Must be willing to purchase some fun props (under $25 from Amazon) to make kids excited to video chat and continue lessons.
