Our client near Lansing, Michigan is seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist to provide ongoing coverage starting the beginning of October. Here are some basic details about the opportunity:
Job Description:
- Monday – Friday 8AM to 5PM; No Call and No Weekend requirements; 5-10 inpatients per day with Mondays and Fridays being the busier days. Most of the patients are repeat patients!
- The Psychiatrist will cover at two nearby hospitals with the staff consisting of the psychiatrist, medical social worker and a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
Requirements of Candidate:
- Board Certified in Psychiatry; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychosomatic Medicine is preferred.
- Must have a current and unrestricted Michigan license and Federal DEA
The hourly compensation rate is NEGOTIABLE at this time and your travel, housing and malpractice insurance will be provided.
