We are seeking a qualified Med/Surg Registered Nurse RN for an immediate opening. Our Client is a two-hospital system consisting of 700+ employees including 100 Physicians with over 22 specialties. They are set beautifully near the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains where you can spend your free time hiking or fishing in one of the many trout streams. Our client offers the following benefits:


$23.90-$30.90 hourly wages, based on experience

Job Responsibilities

As a Med/Surg Registered Nurse RN you are responsible for the intake and care for Med/Surg patients in the Med/Surg unit. Additional responsibilities for the Med/Surg Registered Nurse RN include:


Pass Meds
Charting
Start or Push IV
Handle admit and/or discharge of patients on the floor


Job Requirements

We are looking for dedicated and professional Med/Surg Registered Nurse RN who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and service. It is also important that you are highly organized and that you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Specific qualifications for the Med/Surg Registered Nurse RN role include:


Minimum 1-year of acute/hospital experience needed with in the past 12 months
BSN Preferred or ASN and willing to obtain BSN in 36 months from hire
Minimum BLS or BCLS
Current Virginia RN license (will need to be current before offer but can still interview)
