$80,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Registered Nurse RN / ASC Administrator / Outpatient

Job Responsibilities

The Ambulatory Surgery Center Director is responsible for the overall operations of the ASC including clinical and business functions. The ASC Director will demonstrate the ability to exceed patient and physician expectations, improve clinical and financial operations, and position the ASC as an industry leader.

Additional responsibilities for the ASC Administrator Registered Nurse RN include:

Monday - Friday (typical 45 hour work week)
Last surgery scheduled between 4:00/4:30 P.M.
Oversee 3/4 ambulatory surgery centers (report directly to the CEO)
Assists in preparing, implementing, and monitoring the facility budget
Provides balance between cost effectiveness and quality care issues
Acts as a consultant in selection of staff, determined by hiring policies of the facility and department, job requirements, qualifications, vacancies, availability and objectives relating to the quality of care to be delivered
Ensures all new staff successfully complete required orientation program
Ensures that technical and professional programs are scheduled for staff development and based on:
Identified learning needs of personnel
Communication of facility directives, policies and procedures
Maintenance and enhancement of clinical expertise
Maintains regulatory requirements, including all state, federal, and JCAHO/AAAHC regulations

Job Requirements

We are looking for dedicated and professional ASC Administrator Registered Nurse RN who are committed to providing exceptional patient care and service. It is also important that you are highly organized and that you demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Specific qualifications for the ASC Administrator Registered Nurse RN role include:

Minimum Associate’s Degree in Nursing: Preferred BSN
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current State of Tennessee Registered Nurse license (or willing to obtain)
Four (4) to 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
