Support spcaLA’s mission to prevent cruelty to animals by becoming the Graphic/Web Designer
As a vital member of the spcaLA Communications & Marketing team, you will be responsible for the design of all print and digital graphics and materials for both internal and external communications including but not limited to brochures, flyers, videos, special events, advertisements, and promotional items, web design, web updates, and limited programming on the spcaLA website. You will produce and create a substantial body of work for Los Angeles' premiere animal welfare organization.
- Provide key recommendations and strategy for the web as it relates to the agency’s marketing goals and initiatives.
- Assist in the creation of promotional and instructional videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, including filming, editing and exporting.
- Develop advertising campaigns, brand communications, and promotional themes and visuals with the Director of Communications and Marketing.
- Responsible for website maintenance (using WordPress) including design of new pages, updating pages on current site, and troubleshooting existing issues with help from outside developer.

1-2 years web/graphic design experience. Proficient in Adobe Products, including Premiere Pro, Acrobat/Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver, as well as an ongoing mastery of HTML & CSS, with a strong working knowledge of WordPress. Proficient with DSLR photography. Valid California Driver’s License, maintained during the course of employment. Insurable to drive company vehicles.
