Telemarketing Consultant

Telemarketing Consultant – under the supervision of the Director of Sales & Marketing, will spend 80% of their time prospecting to gain sales appointments for the outside sales team. The other 20% of their time will be spent updating the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to ensure accurate details are captured of call activity and conversations.
Sales 80%
§ Conducts business-to-business, outbound phone calls to targeted industries to secure a meeting for the outside sales team
§ Ability to utilize the sales prospecting tools to contact customers who have shown interest in our products & services or are in our targeted vertical
§ Dial 60-75 prospects a day with a goal of securing two appointments
§ Follow a proven sales process to engage prospects and effectively secure a meeting
CRM Maintenance 20%
§ Update CRM with most up to date Point of Contact (POC) information, contact information & appropriate next steps
§ Capture details of the conversation that will make future touch points with the prospective customer a smooth transition
§ Organized and systematic approach to gathering information while conversating with the prospect
Skills
· 2+ Years of prior Sales/Customer Service experience with excellent sales aptitude with a closing mentality, strong work ethic and effective communications skills
· Ability to collaborate, build relationships and identify centers of influence to strategically position our services online, via the phone and in digital content
· Superior Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Pay Range for Sales & Marketing Consultant – Level 1
$25,000 - $35,000 Annual Salary w/ $7,500 Targeted Commission
