Job Description

We're looking for a strategic, ambitious, creative, analytical and gritty growth marketing manager to report to our Director of Marketing and implement our growth marketing strategy. You will be responsible for its successful execution by leading and managing our marketing team while closely working with our various partner brands' to ensure they are successfully marketing our service across their channels. You will work closely with our Sales & Product teams to optimize for B2C customer growth, acquisition and retention.

Entrepreneurial drive, proven leadership, being hypothesis driven and extremely analytical are must-haves. This is a unique opportunity to join an industry disruptive startup already working with biggest names in retail, including Dyson, Breville, Sony, Belkin and dozens (soon hundreds!) of other reputable brands.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Help formulate our growth objectives and develop marketing plans, mix, budget and initiatives to achieve them
  • Build and manage a team of internal marketers and freelancers directing activities that ladder up to growth goals
  • Oversee the launch of our partner brands, reviewing and approving assets & copy across their product page on our website and custom email flows sent to users trying their product
  • Lead the development & execution of marketing strategies for both nok and our partner brands to promote nok on their channels, such as custom landing pages, buttons for their website, email campaigns, videos, etc.
  • Lead ideation, briefing, development, execution and approval of all marketing campaigns
  • Regularly track, analyze & report on marketing campaigns performance across paid and organic channels to gain insights and assess against goals
  • Closely work with our product team to maximize website conversion rate and inform the roadmap

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in growth or marketing with excellent leadership skills & demonstrated experience managing a team. Strong preference for e-commerce D2C brand or marketplace experience
  • Proven ability to drive growth and perform against aggressive, ever-changing goals
  • Super analytical and hypothesis-driven
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • A marketing generalist who has a deep understanding of every channel and how they play into the marketing mix — from paid marketing like performance, SEM and PR to organic like emails, influencers and SEO
  • You’re a relationship builder, who is passionate about understanding people and their needs
  • A deep understanding of online UX, consumer psychology, digital marketing principles and strategy
  • A high level of interpersonal, written, verbal, negotiation and presentation skills
  • A collaborative work style with demonstrated successful interactions with both internal and external parties
  • Hands-on, get it done attitude. Willing to roll up sleeves and dig in as needed

Circular Recommerce - nok as a solution for the $400B returns problem

Contrary to some rare exceptions - most brands simply destroy all returns (even though the majority are perfectly functioning and were returned because of buyer’s regret). The rare few that do resell returned goods do so at a massive loss.

We built a proprietary circular supply chain that actually thrives off of returns - quickly repurposing them for $0 down at-home tryout products. Our specialized warehouses and staff professionally check, clean, and rebox any returned tryout products and send them back out to the next customer in under 48 hours.
