Job Description
To develop, build, and support highly accessible voice systems, draw on your technical leadership skills. Oversee the engineering of transformation projects and lead strategic infrastructure efforts. Work on various projects, such as system rollouts, upgrades, and infrastructure alterations, with network management. Analyze, administer, manage, and maintain the circuits and telecommunication network systems. To satisfy user requirements, analyze, create, install, configure, and repair essential systems. Consult end users to evaluate system performance. Maintain daily performance, keep an eye on system and network performance, and control security across many platforms.
Driving strategic infrastructure initiatives and managing engineering for transformation projects are among the duties and responsibilities of this position. Assisting in the establishment of operational support models, self-service tools, process automation, and proactive monitoring needed for a scalable and highly available communication service.
  • As part of the larger Network Services team, identify and fix complicated infrastructure problems and outages.
  • Be familiar with the idea and practice of architecture and engineering in the creation and implementation of voice and contact center solutions from Cisco, Microsoft, and Avaya.
  • Function in a leadership role in program initiatives, including being at ease with strategy, finance, resourcing, and goal-oriented delivery.
  • Successfully lead large-scale transformation programs that involve complex integrations of numerous technology components from Cisco, Avaya, and Microsoft.
  • Serving as a leading engineer for all international unified communication applications, including internal/external servers, phone service providers, cloud communication SaaS, voice & video hardware, web broadcasting, session border controllers, and related devices, infrastructure, and equipment.
  • Providing solution engineering for all unified communication infrastructure transformation services for voice & video solutions, designing international routing plans, software lifecycles, and and overseeing operational department processes and inventory
  • Implement best practices for unified communications, analyze common production issues, and direct and implement corrective changes to reduce failures and improve redundancy and recovery.
  • Contribute significantly to product design, documents, solutions, development, DevOps, test plans, and test execution.
  • Create operational process automation for moving, adding, and changing telephony service utilizing effective technologies and procedures.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or similar work experience required.
  • 8+ years of relevant expertise with PBX, ACD, IVR, and Video systems, including architecture design, configuration, implementation projects, and complicated system integrations.
  • Working with Cisco Contact Center Express, Cisco Unified Communications, and WebEx
  • Developing sophisticated reporting using PowerBi
  • Experience with global telecommunications providers, SIP trunking, number porting, global routing, and regulations.
  • Knowledge and experience with networking architecture.
  • Experience converting distributed communication systems into a worldwide technology standard (QoS, Routing, Packet Captures, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, etc.)
  • Information about security systems in relation to collaboration services (firewalls, VPN, key management, encryption, certificates, etc.)

Information, abilities, and skills
  • Ability to create relationships and drive change in a matrixed work environment.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies like Azure or AWS and understanding of security best practices and legislation.
  • Strong ability to identify, understand, and communicate business needs and application architectures for technical projects
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization and communicate technical concepts
