In this position, you will manage key customer accounts to improve satisfaction and, in turn, grow nLIGHT's market share with these customers. Scope of duties includes sale process management for new opportunities, project management of special technology and product development programs, commercial negotiations for pricing, lead time, payment terms, and other key contractual items, factory alignment for forecasting, build planning, and lead time management, and management of post-sales support. Responsibilities * Manage and grow key sales accounts, as measured by improvement in customer satisfaction indicators, market share, revenue, and profit. * Employ best-in-class practices related to relationship management, establishing and driving towards strategic initiatives, customer and internal meetings (agendas, notes, and after action follow-up), and executive reporting * Lead cross functional account teams to qualify new opportunities, to mature opportunities through the sales funnel, and to execute on won business * Identify and manage risks - escalate issues, establish mitigation actions, and drive to resolution to protect the customer's and nLIGHT's interests * Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events. Qualifications * BS in technology-related field is required, with preference for degrees in Physics or Engineering. Advanced degrees in technical / business fields are an advantage. * 3+ years in technical roles (product development, project management, marketing, or technical sales) are required.

Alternatively, a strong desire to launch a career in sales coupled with excellent technical credentials will be considered. * Experience in a customer-facing role with track record of customer responsiveness. * Experience using ERP and/or CRM systems. * Ability to travel domestically and internationally, estimated at less than 25%. * Knowledge of photonic products and markets is desired. nLIGHT is proud to offer comprehensive COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: * Competitive compensation package * 3 weeks of Paid Time Off per year, increasing by 1 day each year up to 4 weeks, plus paid holidays * Eligible for health benefits on the 1st day of the month following start date * Medical & Dental Benefits including Prescription, Orthodontia and Vision with premiums as low as $35.00 per pay period * Flexible Spending and Health Spending Accounts * Employee Stock Purchase Plan * 401(k) with company match * Company paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, and Life & Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance nLIGHT is subject to US Export Control regulations.
