Purpose of the Role:

mPulse Mobile is seeking a Brand and Graphic Design Lead to join our B2B technology company in the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality visual content that communicates complex ideas and technical information in a clear and concise manner. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively with other teams, and success in juggling multiple priorities from various stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, sales, and leadership, to create a wide range of company assets, including social media graphics, digital ads, email templates, and graphics, website pages, event materials, logos, sales collateral (such as brochures, case studies, and white papers), PowerPoint presentations and templates, and more.

• Create simple, lightweight motion graphics and animations for use in digital marketing campaigns, website designs, social media, and other promotional content.

• Act as a design resource for the marketing department (and other departments as needed), managing multiple design priorities, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to balance competing demands, and ensuring that all deadlines are met.

• Maintain a solid grasp of the company’s solutions, technology, and positioning within the market to approach each project strategically, considering how the design will fit into the company's broader library of assets and align with the company's overall business objectives and messaging.

• Collaboratively develop and iterate on design concepts based on feedback from team members, taking a user-centered design approach to ensure that designs meet stakeholder and market needs and expectations.

• Take ownership of developing and implementing the company's visual brand identity and ensure that all design materials are consistent with the established vision and guidelines.

• Serve as a brand ambassador and advocate, collaborating with internal teams to provide guidance and ensure the company's brand is correctly represented in all external-facing materials.

• Maintain the branding guidelines documentation and own the centralized repository of all design files, such as logos, fonts, icons, brand colors, graphics, etc. to facilitate easy access and reuse across the organization.

• Conceptualize and develop creative, well-designed solutions that communicate complex ideas in a simple and visually compelling way while keeping in line with our brand standards and identity.

• Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in graphic design, user experience, and visual communication to inform new concepts and ideas.

Skills, Abilities, and Experience:

• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills across multiple mediums, including print, digital, and mobile, with a focus on concepts and developing creative solutions to complex design challenges.

• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and experience using other design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Canva.

• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects and some experience with video editing and the creation of dynamic animated graphics for demand generation preferred.

• Experience with web design and understanding of UX principles a plus.

• Must possess strong concepting skills, and can develop original, innovative, and well-designed ideas with a strategic, technical, and user-centric eye.

• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with the team through multiple rounds of revisions and accept constructive feedback professionally.

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from concept to completion, while also collaborating effectively with others and incorporating feedback and input from stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, digital media, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a B2B technology company or healthcare industry.

Physical Requirement:

• Ability to stand and sit for an extended period of time.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. weight.
