Position Summary: Responsible for providing actionable business analysis and operational insight to the organization by compiling and analyzing internal and external data and administering financial systems. Contributes to all phases of the mortgage process to produce crisp, concise, and executive level reports, dashboards, and scorecards.

Provides strategic analysis support to senior management with the Joint Venture Executive team and is involved in various complex business intelligence projects, such as preparing and analyzing key performance metrics, sales pipeline, sales forecasts, product profitability, customer experience reporting and customer trends. Ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. Responsibilities: * Administers data systems (SQL Server, Alteryx) and supports data governance for Joint Venture team. * Assists with the enhancement of the Enterprise Data Warehouse. * Develops and applies expertise in business analysis of data to see beyond the numbers to develop a robust understanding of the reporting metrics and how they connect with the business as a whole. * Designs reports that best tell the story using a creative and resourceful approach to solving problems. * Works independently with the assistance of a project manager to complete the full cycle of report development from requirements gathering to post deployment maintenance. * Works with loanDepot's Joint Venture partners (data and strategy teams) to create reporting synergy and seamless cross company/industry data and analytics. * Effectively communicates and provides clear results to allow stakeholders to execute business decisions. * Provides support for ad hoc analysis, monthly reporting, and financial and strategic planning. * Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Requirements: * Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position. * Demonstrates a healthy understanding of business enterprise and business processes involved with mortgage companies or companies offering similar financial products. * Proven ability to gain stakeholder's trust as a credible and reliable analyst. * Demonstrates strong SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel skills.

Tableau experience is a plus for legacy report maintenance. * Extremely analytical with exceptional business acumen and complex problem solving abilities across operational, organizational, and strategic matters. * Ability to handle multiple tasks of different scope and complexity. * Ability to elicit cooperation from other business units. * Intermediate math skills; calculate interest and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs. * Effective organizational and time management skills. * Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must have ability to explain analytics to senior managers. * Ability to make decisions that have an impact on the immediate work unit and cross functional departments. * Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules on a short-term and long-term basis. * Ability to provide consultation and expert advice to management. * Ability to make informal and formal presentations, inside and outside the organization; speaking before assigned team or other groups as needed. * Ability to deal with complex difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations. * Ability to work with little to no supervision while performing duties.
