Summary: This individual is responsible for identifying, evaluating and resolving HR related issues for customers and supporting HR Business Partners with customer projects. HR Consultants are the backbone of the department, performing the majority of customers' deliverables. Enhanced knowledge of iSolved HCM functionality is required. HR Consultants may have project/account manager responsibilities for customers in the Power tier.
Essential Duties: Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
Identify legal and governmental reporting regulations affecting HR practices and ensuring that customer policies, procedures and processes are in compliance. Maintain working knowledge of multi-state employment law compliance to best serve all iSolved customers. Handle customer phone and email support through HR help desk, in conjunction with HR Associates, while adhering to department KPIs. Know when to escalate to an HR Business Partner. Serve as account manager for small client groups, as needed; utilize team approach Handle majority of HR Gap Reviews; maintain efficiency and accuracy. Draft customer position descriptions and employee handbooks. Conduct comprehensive Wage & Salary Surveys. Assist with benefit support for customers. Provide management coaching to customer designees. Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation. Advise customer of potential HR risks and impact of business decisions. Maintain working knowledge of iSolved modules and functionality for customer upsell opportunities and to upload People Services deliverables to applicable iSolved location (i.e. new employee handbook into iSolved Employee Messages). Play major component in HCM and HR Efficiency Implementation projects. Understand People Services solution offerings and upsell on higher tiers or add-on projects through identified customer needs. Maintain total confidentiality with customer information. Ability to learn HR practices to further personal career pathing. Work toward continuous quality improvement.
Stay current with changing technology, including software programs. Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the individual in this position must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills and ability required.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and a minimum of three (3) years related HR Generalist experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: PHR and/or SHRM-CP -preferred
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
