iXsystems is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic new team member to assist with payroll, taxes and other administrative duties in the HR department.
Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees’ hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.
Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, and other deductions.
Reconciles payroll to the general ledger and monthly bank statements.
Records and reviews federal and state payroll tax deposits.
Records and reviews Workers Comp Insurance or Taxes for correctness and completeness.
Maintains SUI for each state the company maintains employees.
Reviews 940 and 941 for correctness.
Completes EEOC reporting
Reconciles all group insurances invoices to payroll monthly. Works with payroll provider to
Works with payroll provider to correct issues that arise
Completes required reporting for CFO at each payroll.
Reviews payroll reports for correctness including payroll journal, earnings and deduction register, garnishments paid, Tax payment reports, Employee Eligibility for Health and Benefit
High school degree or equivalent
Accounting experience a plus
Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Able to sit for prolonged periods
Must be able to life up to 15 pounds at times.
