Maintenance Supervisor - 20435

Our client in Battle Creek, MI is actively looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team for a 12+month contract!

3rd shift hours are typically Mon-Fri 9:30pm-5:45am

Position responsibilities:

• Set the pace - Establish work plans that support and improve equipment reliability 
• Drive Change - Incorporating a culture of inclusion and continuity within all departments through Continuous improvement 
• Strategize to win - Directing, training and developing maintenance team members for assigned area/shift 
• Drive efficiency - Using problem solving skills and root cause analysis to resolve and/or mitigate maintenance issues 
• Impact results - Identifying opportunities to eliminate cost and/or waste through applying LEAN MEFG principles 
• Take a new angle - Identifying, implementing and documenting maintenance and reliability best practices

Required:

• Either Mechanical or Electrical knowledge
• 3+years of Supervisory experience 
• High school diploma or GED at minimum with 10 years' experience in machine maintenance 
• OR
• Bachelor's degree in engineering/technical related field plus 5 years' experience in machine maintenance 

Preferred: 

SAP experience
