Job Description

A reputable commercial construction company is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team This company has a steady and diverse pipeline of commercial projects including events, theme parks, museums, exhibits and theaters.


  • 10+ years of professional experience in various entertainment industries
  • Custom fabrication experience required
  • Theme Park experience preferred
  • PMP Certification and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, which may include Industrial Designer, Business, Engineering, or Theater required or comparable experience
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, MEP and construction drawings.
  • Ability to collaborate and work as a team.
  • Ability to respond to high demands and expectations
  • Ability to make quick and complex decisions under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate


  • Oversees a wide range of teams and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and to client specifications.
  • Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Delegate’s work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
  • Collaborate with technical designers and fabricators to define and adhere to construction parameters based on budget and timeline for custom fabrication elements.
  • Identify, research, and qualify RFP/ RFQ's and upcoming projects for go/no go potentialDirect and lead submittals in response to RFP/ RFQ's.
  • Manage existing client relationships; develop/manage new client relationships
  • Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks and organizing work effectively
  • Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
  • Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
  • Conducts risk assessments: reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
