Job Description

We have partnered with a wonderful nonprofit organizations that are looking for an experienced Senior Director to join their team for an amazing opportunity.


This position is located in the Greater Chicago area.


The Senior Director will be responsible for leading all administrative, fiscal, and programmatic activities. The Senior Director sets strategic direction, develops business plans, and provides leadership to dynamic team and impactful teams.



  • Pursue grants, donors, and diverse funding sources.
  • Responsible for the operations of the organization.
  • Meeting business objectives through delegating responsibility within the organization.
  • Promotes a strong culture by promoting, demonstrating, and maintaining trust, integrity, and compassion.
  • This position will prepare, execute, and analyze strategic and business plans to track, communicate and report business objectives and results.
  • Effectively represents the organization to the public, employees, and community stakeholders to establish and maintain an exceptional reputation of the organization.
  • Collaborate with CEO and VP to meet all business objectives in a cost-effective manner.



  • BA/BS in a human service-related field required
  • 5+ years senior or executive management experience required
  • 3+ years managing a budget over $2 million required
  • 3+ years of Family-Centered Practice & Child Welfare experience required.
  • 3+ years managing diverse funding streams required.
  • This person must have a collaborative and purposeful leadership style.
