Catering - Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager/Event Cook (Full & Part Time)

fundamental LA (, a highly regarded restaurant and catering business, is currently looking to hire enthusiastic and hard working Lead Prep & Event Cooks as we roll into our busy fall/winter season.

We are currently hiring both full and part time positions based on experience and availability.

Ideal candidates have a strong work ethic, previous catering experience, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Job requirements include:

  • Excellent communicator
  • Eager to work hard and learn
  • Passionate about cooking exceptional food
  • Keeping your workstation clean
  • Excellent knife skills
  • Understanding of intermediate cooking techniques
  • Prepping accurately based on prep lists and recipes
  • Executing any other tasks assigned by chefs
  • Prior supervisory experience in a high volume kitchen/capacity A PLUS
  • Must have 2 years experience working in fast paced/ high quality establishments
