Priority Health Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) intensely searching for an outstanding Board certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Our multi-disciplinary team is dedicated to offering quality care to those in our community and the regional area in an outpatient setting. The primary role for the LCSW/LAC will be to conduct interviews and assessments with the youth and parents, set treatment goals and arrange coordinating services with the treatment team. In addition, the LCSW/LAC will provide psychoeducational and process groups to youth and families. As an active and supportive team member, you must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work independently.
+ Current license to practice in Louisiana verified by the LABSWE and able to engage in independent practice
+ Board certified
+ Proficient in EMR
+ Must have a Master?s degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
+ Must have completed two (2) years of clinical practice with adolescent population, computed at 3,000 hours, post-master?s degree experience within an addiction setting.
+ Must have sound interviewing and assessment skills and the ability to work effectively with staff members and/or patients of all socioeconomic, religious, gender and ethnic backgrounds.
+ Contribute to a high-performing culture, focused on partnering with clients as we inspire and empower change
+ Design, implement, and manage the clinical program, running therapy sessions in group and individual formats, employing evidence-based treatment modalities for clients with substance abuse and clients struggling with a dual diagnosis (if applicable)
+ Adhere to all aspects of the clinical and PHC program?s policies and procedures to ensure quality performance and apply any quality improvements that may be necessary
+ Provide therapeutic services, including delivery of assessments, conducting treatment planning, and coordinate clinical treatment services with families as well as ensure timely documentation of treatment for the billing team. The Primary Therapist is responsible for all aspects of their allocated case?s clinical documentation, timely entries into the treatment record, and maintaining compliance with standards for documentation
+ Conduct client utilization reviews and medical necessity discussions with insurance payers, if necessary
+ Assist in the recruitment of clinically competent and dually trained Mental Health / Substance Abuse clinicians to provide group and individual services to clients
