Position Summary This GIS Analyst will be a dedicated partner to the retail store development and market strategy for DTC. Will be responsible for analyzing and making recommendations for DTC growth in markets and utilizing extensive customer data & psychographics. This individual will live and breathe DTC market, site and customer data to best serve current and future DTC customers. Analyze and provide recommendations to both the DTC Real Estate & Senior Leadership Team. Supports the real estate team in retail and market strategy. This analyst would be responsible for coordinating, communicating, and mining of data between third (3rd) party external consultants, Oppidan development team, and internal DTC data team. This position functions as a broad-based demographic expert to support and consult DTC real estate growth team and Oppidan Development team.
Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Assist in overall strategic site selection leveraging DTC customer profiles and present to the real estate team and Senior Leadership Team. • Manage analysis of current store and market trends to inform and provide positive impact on future decisions. • Manage and integrate databases within internal and external GIS enterprise • Manage and make recommendations in improving current GIS Mapping, analytics and demographic programs and partner vendors. • Develop, enhance, and maintain positive business relationships with DTC Internal team, 3rd party data teams, and Oppidan Development Team. • Create standardized and custom maps and data, reporting with geospatial analysis for new store development and OMNI channel support. • Provide fact-based analysis and recommendations for new market growth developments, using in depth strategic local marketing opportunities, and site/location approval books. Qualifications and Skills • Bachelor’s degrees in Business GIS, with an emphasis in GIS Real Estate or a related field preferred of a combination of education and experience • 5+ year experience, preferred • GIS Commercial Real Estate experience preferred • Ability to apply GIS Analysis specifically to retail • Ability to present clearly to a Senior Level Management Team • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Analytical with strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment • Ability to work between internal, external, and 3rd Party teams • Possess strong sense of confidentiality • Ability to travel up to 10%. Computer Skills Proficient computers skills, knowledge with Office 365 Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and GIS platforms.
