Gemologist

Maxferd of Beverly Hills, a renowned pawnshop in the heart of Beverly Hills, is seeking a qualified and experienced Gemologist (Pawnbroker) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Appraise, authenticate, and evaluate diamonds,(gemstones a plus)
• Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients regarding jewelry, watches, and other luxury items.
• Negotiate with customers and make fair and competitive offers for their items.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and transactions.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the store.

Requirements:

• GIA or equivalent gemology certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Diamonds grading, jewelry sales
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to work in a retail environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
