[Job Summary]
We are hiring an Executive Assistant who will work onsite at our office in Cambridge, MA Monday-Friday to directly support three executives including the President at LG Chem Life Sciences Innovation Center. As the Center’s Executive Assistant, your contribution towards the following responsibilities will have an important impact on the expansion and success of LG Chem Life Sciences Innovation Center
[Job Description]
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Complete a variety of administrative tasks for the President and executives - Manage multiple calendars; coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings - Plan and organize domestic/international travel itineraries and accommodations, and submit expense vouchers
- Draft, review and send communications on behalf of the President and
executives
- Answer phone calls and respond to e-mails; communicate messages and
information to the President and executives
- Prepare memos, meeting minutes, letters, reports, presentations and agendas as
needed
- Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
- Receive and greet visitors, and direct them to the appropriate personnel or
location
- Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs
- Order and stock office supplies, resources, and snacks and beverages
[Qualifications]
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in administration or relevant field
- 1-3 years of experience in administrative work and/or working in an office setting
- Ability to work onsite (Cambridge, MA) Monday through Friday during business hours
- Ability to fluently speak, read and write English and Korean
Preferred:
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (essential)
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Outstanding flexibility and diplomacy
- Proven ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in decision
making
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal
skills
- Must be self-motivated, self-learner, engaged, and able to perform complex tasks
independently
- Ability and willingness to collaborate across functions and cultures
- Talent to develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clientele
