Company conducts worldwide marketing, sales, and distribution of biological medicines through an extensive global network that spans more than 120 different countries. Company provides REMSIMA, the world's first biosimilar monoclonal antibody (mAb) approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) for the treatment of autoimmune disease, and innovative biopharmaceutical medications to help increase patient access to advanced therapies around the world.
1. POSITION SUMMARY
The commercial director is a key leadership position within a newly formed entity of Company in USA.
This successful candidate will be responsible for leading commercialization of products portfolio by developing go-to- market strategy, market access strategy, ad/promotional plan, and by executing these strategies in order to meet company’s objectives and business goals. S/he will be leading a team of sales, marketing, and market access, and will contribute in-depth sales management expertise, work closely with internal stakeholders up to top management and external stakeholders and/or partners.
2. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and deliver commercialization strategy & action plan in accordance with the requirements of the business
Build and manage the sales function with emphasis on continuous improvement in all aspects of operations through sales relationship, organizational development of sales department or related organizational activities
Hire, develop and retain high performing key account teams focused on achieving key objectives
Develop and manage integrated, cross-functional timeline that support the on-time delivery and flawless execution of the initiatives
Influence and engage all functional areas of the business to drive outcomes and proactively deal with the issues
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate to achieve company’s objective and business goals
Create, build, and maintain relationships and communications with physicians and key thought leaders
Drive high quality sales execution by leading the development and implementation of enhanced, simplified and standardized sales planning process
Develop best in class sales leadership by determining specific training needs and support programs development and delivery
Create appropriate insights into sales force analytics and deployment methods that demonstrate field force effectiveness
Analyze sales and operations data to monitor sales progress and develops corrective plans to improve sales force effectiveness efficiency
3. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing and/or sales in biopharmaceuticals with proven track record of sales leadership, performance management, and employee development
In-depth knowledge of biopharmaceutical industry across the multiple stakeholders, and biologics experience required
Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or business related; MBA preferred but not required

Experience of leading high performing sales field teams strongly preferred
Experience working closely with all sales force counterparts and gaining insights for sales force needs
Experience in leading and developing long range brand plans, budgets and forecasts
Experience tracking and managing budgets with finance counterparts
Demonstrated abilities working across functions to align, motivate, and coordinate team members to
collectively define and achieve critical milestones
Ensure cooperative and collaborative communication and execution between all internal stakeholders
Excellent communicator – verbal, written and presentation skills
