We are hiring for entry level grooming assistants/apprentices, experience in an animal field a plus! This is a starting point for advancement in the company with tuition-free haircut training. We require you to LOVE DOGS, if you meet that requirement the job is simple easy and for the most part, fun! Our salon is a very relaxed and pet friendly environment, you get to be one-on-one with the animals you are working on, and if you have a well behaved dog you are allowed to bring him or her to work with you. Our hours are 8:30am- when everything is done for the day, which is typically 4:30-5:30pm.
Responsibilities include washing, drying, and prepping dogs for styling, training to become a stylist, as well as some cleaning and scheduling. Pay is commission based (backed by hourly, you keep all commission and tips that exceed your hourly pay), we are open 7 days a week, so there’s always an opportunity to get extra work/extra pay! Reliable transportation, and a minimum of 4 weekend days per month is required.
