Job Description:
- Must be fully vaccinated
- BS Mechanical Engineer degree
- 3+ year professional design experience with SolidWorks
- Oversees design projects from start to finish: concept, design review, detail drawing, procurement, assembly, testing
- Work with team members to develop requirements
- Strong solid modeling experience to create concept designs
- Ability to host reviews and present in front of a team to obtain feedback
- Create 2D prints using ASME Y14 standards
- Hands on skills to assemble designs and test them
- Strong knowledge of available commercial off the shelf items
- SolidWorks PDM experience a plus
- Design in fixtures and experience in optics a plus
- Electro-mechanical Engineering a plus Ability to confidently perform FEA a plus
