Customer Service Rep for Material Operations

Job Description:

  • Role will require some driving. Must have cleared MVR.
  • Materials Operations is looking for a new Customer Service Representative team member.
  • They will serve as a liaison between the customers and warehouse staff.
  • S/he will be also responsible for maintaining department metrics and documents
  • Work performed will include, but not limited to:
  • Answering phone and email inquiries and entering them in the inquiry log
  • Coordinating special deliveries and package pickups
  • Submitting monthly metrics
  • Processing UPS and FedEx packages as they are received on campus
  • Processing outgoing UPS and FedEx packages
  • Setting up meetings and work closely with Receiving, Distribution, Shipping, Storage and Disposition, Sample Transport, Zero Waste Team, and leadership teams
  • Proficient in Google Suites
  • Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Meet timeline commitments and inform others of status, issues, and customer requests as necessary.
  • Adheres to appropriate laws, GNE regulations and programs, and documentation procedures.
  • Adhere to safety. Follow safety guidelines as required for your area.
  • Strong organizational skills, warehouse and inventory experience, excellent communication skills, knowledge of SCLogic and SAP a plus; willingness to learn other applications as needed.
