Summary of Job:

The Revenue Operations - Enablement team manages the project prioritization and framing, evaluation, implementation, administration, and optimization of go-to-market tools and technology. The Senior Manager of Revenue Operations will lead a highly-skilled team of professionals to drive systems enablement initiatives across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success allowing our teams to increase deal conversion by improving buyer engagements, driving organizational alignment, increasing pipeline acceleration, and improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the go-to-market organization.

Reporting to the Director of Revenue Operations, this leader act in an integrating role between various Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success functions helping bridge technical and business teams. The Senior Manager will help the team build on its reputation for world-class customer service as it provides ongoing support for current processes and systems while guiding and assisting team members as they execute high-profile initiatives of their own.

In addition to acting as a force multiplier for the team, the majority of the Senior Manager's time will be spent on a portfolio of initiatives they will be responsible for owning and delivering. The focus of these will be on implementing new applications and optimizing existing platforms, in support of ZipRecruiter's strategic objectives. As needed, the Senior Manager will assume administrative responsibilities for new systems while other members of the team are trained.

Key focuses:

  • Be a player-coach - lead a team of 5 seasoned professionals in the completion of day-to-day activities and execution of strategic initiatives, and directly own project management activities and enablement-related tasks as needed
  • Roll up her/his sleeves, personally own projects and systems, execute tasks, and problem solve at a detailed level. 
  • Be a “builder” adept at identifying areas of opportunity and skilled at navigating nebulous processes where minimal structure exists.  
  • Consistently and independently conduct an analysis of the current state of go-to-market effectiveness and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Refine Enablement training library and partner with Learning & Development to establish a systems training curriculum as we seek to instill best practices across the organization.
  • Utilize and leverage Rev Ops tools for reporting and benchmarking.
  • Participate in the selection and implementation/deployment of technologies to be used by go-to-market teams to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strong communications and organizational influence skills, can acknowledge and balance the different needs of all relevant stakeholders.
  • Able to partner closely with various executives to help drive strategy and behaviors that support our new business and expansion sales processes.
  • Demonstrated innovative and creative approach to designing processes and delivering solutions.
  • Ability to quickly pivot between brainstorming, strategy, and execution when partnering with our GTM teams.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to drive initiatives from inception to completion.

Travel:

  • Up to quarterly trips to Santa Monica / Phoenix for strategic conversations

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of management experience
  • 5+ years of Sales / Revenue Operations or related experience
  • Proficient with Salesforce or other CRM systems
  • Strong knowledge of go-to-market applications spanning Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success (i.e. Outreach/SalesLoft, Marketo/Pardot, HighSpot, ZoomInfo, LI Sales Navigator, Gong, Gainsight)
  • Experience partnering with MULTIPLE go-to-market teams such as Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Excellent client management skills, strong written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Jira or similar project management software
  • Proven project management, organization, and communication skills with the ability to support productive matrixed teams and working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Track record of business process innovation and improvements
  • Ability to drive multiple initiatives at one time, adapt to evolving priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills. You have a track record of effectively working with a variety of key players across the organization, such as product, engineering, sales, marketing, analytics, and finance
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Suite products and/or MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Easily builds rapport and establishes relationships with customers and colleagues

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Preferred working experience with Pardot, Xactly, Outreach, Gong, HighSpot, ZoomInfo, Gainsight or similar applications (Certifications a plus)
  • 5+ years experience supporting sales teams of 100+/multi-channel sales teams 
  • 3+ year of experience in a company with SAAS and/or digital advertising business models
