Job Title: Member Care Representative

Work Location: 1141 W Silicon Way, Suite A. St. George, UT 84770

Work Status: Full-time, non-exempt

Salary: $17 per hour for 60-days, and then a $1 increase after that.

Zion Healthshare is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) medical cost-sharing program that provides the structure for members to contribute toward each other's medical costs. We provide an alternative to traditional health insurance and our rates are more affordable than traditional health insurance. Our goal is to re-imagine the way benefits are administered and we treat our members like family.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to Health Share member requests and questions via phone, email, and chat
• Update and change member information in Salesforce
• Act with sense of urgency to address member needs and questions
• Verify and manage Initial Unsharable Amont (IUA) payments
• Assist with determining sharing eligibility, and manage pending statuses
• Creating positive and innovative solutions that enhance our members' experience
• Operating under strict HIPPA compliance

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MEMBER CLAIMS SPECIALIST

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent phone etiquette
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to type 40 words per minute
• Good writing skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR MEMBER CLAIMS SPECIALIST

• Experience working in the medical field, or customer service environment
• Bilingual in Spanish

WORK SCHEDULE

• Business is open 7am-6 PM (M-F). Schedule will be during these time
• We are always closed on weekends
