As the Director of People...

You are responsible for driving the people strategy to align with business objectives and goals. You will provide senior-level Human Resources advising and coaching to all levels of leadership and their respective teams to ensure company goals and objectives are fulfilled.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building strategy, overseeing, and implementing all Human Resources, Recruiting, Training & Development, Office & Facilities functions.

  • Collaborating with Executive Team to ensure the effective and timely delivery of impactful HR services and solutions, including talent acquisition, talent management and development, compensation, benefits, and HR technology solutions.

  • Serving as a consultant to the leadership team on Human Resources related issues.

  • Drive a performance culture, built around trust and action.

  • Implementing and managing end-to-end HR processes that ensure the consistent delivery of HR services and results.

  • Identifying staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.

  • Monitoring and ensuring Zengistics compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.

  • Maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to leadership.

  • Ensures the maintenance records of transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, attendance records, discipline records, employee performance appraisal records and schedules.

  • A college graduate holding a BA/BS degree.

  • Experienced in developing and executing effective Human Resources strategies.

  • Strong issue resolution and negotiation skills.

  • Executive presence and effective in leading an organization while being a collaborative member of a team.

  • Experience with, and deep understanding, of current Human Resources trends and regulations.

  • Highly motivated with an outstanding work ethic and competitive drive.

  • A great communicator with exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Extremely detail oriented and able to adapt in any situation.

  • Able to approach problems flexibly and demonstrate creativity in solving them.

  • Able to be in person at our Austin office.

  • PHR or SHRM-CP desired but not required.
