Scientist or Research Associate - Single-cell Genomics and Multi-omics

We are unconstrained by traditional product development methodologies and seek to utilize unique insights and abilities of our colleagues to conceive new ideas and accelerate product development across tools, cells and drugs. We are seeking to build a team of creative and adventurous scientists to push the boundaries of lifescience innovation.

We are currently looking for help developing and optimizing single-cell assays for drug discovery applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in genomics and NGS, with a preferred background in single-cell sequencing. Deep experience with cell culture, molecular biology and genetic manipulation to create sequencing libraries is essential. We are a technology development company, so experience with novel cell analysis and engineering techniques is highly desired. The current project combines phenotypic imaging assays with sequencing assays, and combining Perturb-seq assays with imaging assays.

Requirements

Graduate degree in Molecular or Cell Biology with some industry experience, OR, Bachelors with strong undergraduate research track record and a few years of industry experience

Strong background of molecular biology and cell biology techniques

Strong background with NGS library prep applications and single-cell RNA-seq workflows

Exposure to higher-complexity genomics workflows like ATAC-seq, Perturb-seq and Gro-seq

Experimental design, primer design and qPCR, with experience in data analysis

Mammalian Cell Culture

Basic microscopy and fluorescent microscopy knowledge

Assist with troubleshooting of methods

Maintain accurate and complete records
