ZNLabs is a new and innovative veterinary diagnostic laboratory who is looking to hire and train a Histology technician in our diagnostic Laboratory in Louisville, KY. Come be a part of a great team!

Responsibilities and Duties

(include, but not limited to)

Job responsibilities include:

· Process and prepare animal biopsy tissues for examination

· Excellent knowledge of animal anatomy

· Comfortable working with animal tissues and blood samples

· Performs all technical duties related to the production of histo-pathological slides to include embedding, microtomy, staining and filing

·Assist with the maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment including the cleaning and changing of chemicals

· Attention to detail is a must

· Identify and resolve challenges in a timely manner and work well alone and in a group setting

· Use time efficiently and are able to prioritize and plan work activities

· Veterinary Technician/Histology experience a plus

Knowledge, Qualifications & Compensation

· 2+ years of experience in histology lab or similar environment.

· Team oriented, friendly and loves a challenge.

· Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills required.

· Robust organizational and time management skills.

· Experience in the veterinary field strongly preferred, but not required. Other experience considered as applicable.
