ZAGG, the global leader in accessories that enhance every aspect of the mobile lifestyle, is seeking a Channel Marketing Manager to join our world-class consumer electronics marketing team.
Channel Marketing is a critical function at ZAGG, supporting and strengthening our relationships with the industry's best retail partners including wireless carriers Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T, as well as retailers Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and more. As Channel Marketing Manager, you'll focus training, merchandising and retailer support, sales support, promotions, and driving sell-through improvement.
As Manager of Channel Marketing, you will help drive sell-through of our products at major retailers by supporting the execution of joint marketing plans, training programs, and by working closely with the creative and analytical resources within ZAGG. You will be a liaison between ZAGG's sales and creative teams to ensure the optimal support of our retail partners, assisting in all their asset and marketing material needs, among other responsibilities.
A successful Channel Marketing Manager at ZAGG is driven, eager to learn and dig-in, and comes with an understanding and appreciation for consumer products marketing. Retail marketing experience is a huge plus. The perfect person for this role wants to own and contribute to some of the most important marketing strategies at ZAGG.
RESPONSIBILITIES
o Support the Sr. Channel Marketing Manager and product marketing teams in helping drive sell-through at our biggest retail partners.
o Own the process of aligning and delivering marketing assets to our retail partners for product launches including online imagery, copy and messaging, and packaging approvals.
o Support vendor relations for all merchandising opportunities with retail partners for ZAGG brands.
o In collaboration with sales and product marketing, help develop annual merchandising plans for our key wireless and big-box retail partners.
o Develop meaningful and trusting relationships with our ZAGG sales team.
o Regularly audit and explore opportunities to better represent our products across retailer .coms.
o Drive swag initiatives for the MSM (Training) team.
o Support the Product and Channel teams with events at retail: logistics, artwork requests, sample orders, swag, booth needs.
o With marketing leadership, develop and maintain channel marketing performance measures à implement on our team's master marketing dashboard.
o Support reviews syndication programs.
o Facilitate and lead meetings with key stake holders (Channel, Sales, Creative teams) regularly, to ensure the proactive support of ZAGG's retail partners.
o Other duties as assigned.
• SKILLS
o Ability to form close relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners.
o Must have a collaborative style and be able to cultivate and maintain an open environment where ideas are shared, questioned and tested.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to gather and influence support for ideas and drive team members towards common objectives and continuous improvement.
o Detail oriented and ability to manage critical projects and deadlines.
o Administrative and managerial skills.
o Analytical ability and strong attention to detail.
o Ability to maintain and keep work confidential.
o Must be a self-starter, requiring little supervision or direction.
• QUALIFICATIONS
o 3-5+ years' experience in marketing for a consumer product or mobile, technology
o Demonstrable success in supporting results-oriented joint marketing programs and initiatives
o Keen understanding of consumer products branding and marketing
o Program management mindset: ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks
o Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail
o Team player with ability to work cross functionally
o Great communication and interpersonal skills
o Proven track record and experience in utilizing available marketing levers
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
o Some travel may be required
o Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field (or equivalent experience)
o Experience coordinating events, a plus
