Test and help implement new and innovative techniques for collecting post-discharge follow-up data. This may include the use of texting, emailing, and mailing follow-up related information and forms to families and young adults served by Youth Villages. This may also include testing of incentives (for both call team staff and young adults), as well as exploring the preferred ordering of data collection efforts for mixed mode attempts. Work closely with other Research staff involved with data collection activities. Use the various software platforms/programs available (e.g., REDCap, Twilio, Voxco, Mozzaz, etc.) for testing new and innovative data collection ideas that will help increase responses rates for post-discharge follow-up data collection. Ensure deadlines are met when testing new processes and closely monitor the effectiveness and quality of the data collection processes being tested.
Identify data collection issues in Evolv, work with staff across the organization to understand the issues, identify needed changes in processes, technology, and/or training to address the issues, and work with the Clinical Apps team on technology and process changes that will meet the needs of clinical staff and provide useable data for analysis and visualizations. Assist in the development of training materials to address data collection issues and/or to address changes that have been implemented in processes and/or technology.
Work with the data manager and other research coordinator to understand data collection processes in both Voxco (call center software) and REDCap (survey data collection and management software).
